The Body Shop Speak Up Vinyl Lip Gloss

[unpaid/sample/prioradrelationship/forthcomingadrelationship] It’s really not very often I come across a new texture for lips! Although this is called a Vinyl Lip Gloss which makes me think of a very high shine finish, it’s exactly the opposite – a low shine lip gloss. I actually thought (until I put my readers on and read the packaging properly) that it was a liquid lipstick because that’s what it feels like. It’s good news for those who don’t like the gloop of a regular gloss but like a sheen finish and a lightness of touch.

There are four shades of gloss (as shown) and I’d say the pigment is medium. You can very easily build to a level of intensity if you prefer or just take a single swipe for less. I’m currently wearing My Choice which is a baby pink and it feels very moistureful. I’m reminded very much of the non-drying matte liquid lipsticks that feel velvetyor cushioned on the skin- except they’re not matte! And, the ingredients are 94% natural origin with Vitamin E being the key non-dry-out ingredient.
