Alice in Chains’ Jerry Cantrell Announces 2022 U.S. Solo Tour

Jerry Cantrell of Alice in Chains has a lengthy tour booked in support of his new solo album, “Brighten”

Jerry Cantrell has a new solo album on the way, and now, he has a full-fledged 2022 North American solo tour to go with it. The Alice in Chains guitarist and singer has announced a 30-date tour in support of his new album, “Brighten,” which drops Oct. 29.

The run will mark Cantrell’s full solo tour since 2004. The shows kick off March 24 at First Avenue in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and close out with a May 8 appearance at the House of Blues in San Diego, California. Amid the performances, Cantrell will play a homecoming show May the Moore Theater in Seattle.

Cantrell’s new album features a bevy of big names from the rock world, including Guns N’ Roses’ Duff McKagan and Dillinger Escape Plan’s Greg Puciato, as well as drummer Gil Sharone, pianist Vincent Jones and producer Tyler Bates.
