Berlin’s Ben Böhmer is back with another uplifting melodic house single, this time with support from frequent collaborators JONAH. “Escalate” is structured around a major chord structure built up with deeply textured synths and atmospheres, offering the trademark robust sound of a Böhmer production. On social media, Böhmer shared how “Escalate” came together.

“Escalate” is the second single from Ben Böhmer’s upcoming album Begin Again, scheduled for release on September 24 via Anjunadeep. It follows “Beyond Beliefs,” the track Böhmer used to open his now-famous Cercle DJ set. Alongside the most recent collaboration, duo JONAH will make a second appearance on Begin Again with “Home.” Begin Again also features Gordi, lau.ra, and PBSR.
