The best videos of the week include selections from Nina Tech, Duckwrth, Nija Mercury, and more.

It’s officially Friday again, this week a bunch of music videos got us through.

First up, Baby Keem and Kendrick Lamar unveiled “Family Ties.” This clip is our favorite of the entire week not just because Lamar is on it, but because it’s a short film. It’s aesthetically pleasing, but it also features a gut punch when Kendrick pops up and the beat entirely switches up (we’ve missed him). The visual is well done; in its entirety it’s eccentric and we’re really feeling the close-up shots of Lamar.

Another video that caught our attention this week is Duckwrth’s “4K.” Also driven by an idea of a short film, the video is filled with fun montages of the artist with a love interest. But, the clip also meshes well when it centers on a sour relationship between Duckwrth and the director (that’s actually hilarious).

Lion Babe never disappoints. In the duo’s newest video, Jillian Harvey and Lucas Goodman both appear in rainbow-inspired body paint. This gets the job done as the track is a beautifully written single.

Mercury, an untapped, rising Atlanta artist pushes the Southern rap agenda in “Cacti.” Some moments of the video are lo-fi, while others are well-lit, but in total, her flow takes center stage.

KenTheMan also drops off a video for her new single “Secret” and Ncognita unleashes “Illmatic.” Additional videos of the week we suggest you get privy to include Nija’s “Ease My Mind,” Nina Tech’s “Superstar” and Amber Mark’s “Foreign Things.”
