Dirty South is out with his five-trackThe Grand Swell EP, a project that demonstrates his renewed focus on tech- and house-centric production versus the vocal-led. The EP sees the artist return to Lane 8‘s This Never Happened label following Little Devious two years prior.
Dirty South released the first track from the EP, “Viggo,” in July, then promising four additional tracks on an unnamed EP that would be housed on the label. Stylistically, the EP is a synergistic fit on This Never Happened, what with its fusion of instrumentals and eclectic production aspects. To celebrate the release of The Grand Swell, Dirty South is concluding a Grand Swell tour throughout North America, where he has performed in markets including Miami, Dallas, and New York.
