Following the July 3 activation of his international Jack The House tour, Matroda is sonically rubbing shoulders with San Pacho for a tech-house heater that epitomizes the potency of a looping vocal sample. Known to streamers as “La Pasion,” the single clocks in as Matroda’s sixth offering this year alone, and as he approaches 2021’s lucky number seventh, he’s realigning with San Pacho to furnish an answer to their initial tie-up, 2019’s “The One [UKF10].” It comes with a Spanish language incantation spoken sensually and declaratively. Between the commanding sample, percussion, and bass, “La Pasion” pulls up to Terminal Underground with all the trappings of an underground favorite.
