Molly Burman Shares New Single, ‘Debt’, Taken From Upcoming Debut EP

In the past few months, 19 year old Molly Burman has been making waves within the music industry, with her debut single Fool Me With Flattery and her last release, Everytime both garnering support across the globe. This week has seen her deliver her most empowering number yet, Debt. The track comes with a video directed by Dora Paphides. Watch and listen below.

Debt is a fun, groovy number that will sound amazing on the dancefloor, yet features hard hitting, emotive lyrics that many will find themselves being able to relate to. Speaking about the track, Molly states:

Debt was inspired by a night out I had, a night that I’m sure many can relate to. I was just out to have a good time and dance and a guy was very insistent that he buy me a drink, this then made him feel some sort of entitlement to my body and he continued to harass me throughout the night.’ She continues, `No one owes you their body just because you bought them a drink, we aren’t here to make you feel good about yourself, we’re just trying to go out and have a boogie, so leave us the hell alone!

The track is paired with a stunning music video captured by Molly’s friend and collaborator, Dora Paphides, who perfectly captures the narrative of the song whilst displaying Molly and her friends dancing – showing a new, never seen before side to Molly Burman.

Molly has also recently announced her first EP, Fool Me With Flattery, a collection of songs that she has written over the past couple of years, recorded and co-produced at home with her father. The EP is set to be released on the 20th August via Prolifica Inc.
