However, you might be surprised by which films Will smith considers his best.

Will Smith recently appeared on GQ‘s Actually Me series, where the actor responded to real comments from Twitter, Instagram, Quora, Wikipedia, Reddit, YouTube and TikTok — with one of those comments being what is Smith’s best and worst movies.

Well, Smith’s answer in regards to the latter probably won’t surprise you.

“Worst? I don’t know — Wild Wild West just is a thorn in my side,” Smith writes as a response to the comment before adding, “To see myself with chaps…I don’t like it.”

As for the films he considers his best? Well, it’s a tie between the first Men in Black and The Pursuit of Happiness, with Smith saying, “For different reasons, those are the two almost perfect movies.”

That Smith considers Wild Wild West his worst movie shouldn’t come as a surprise. The film wasn’t well-received commercially or critically, and even received the award for Worst Picture at the 20th Golden Raspberry Awards (the parody award show that honors the worst in film).

Currently, Smith’s next film will be King Richard, where he will portray Richard Williams, the father of Venus and Serena Williams. In a recent cover story with GQ, Smith spoke about how Williams reminded him of his own father.

“Richard Williams is a lot like my father,” Smith said. “So when I first read [the script], I understood what it’s like to want your kids to succeed. I had done it a little bit with my kids. I understood what it was to try to mold a young mind, how it’s different with sons than it is with daughters.”

In that same cover story, Smith also talked about his upcoming memoirWill. The book will be released in November.
