It also saves loads of time in the long run, and can massively reduce your shopping bill.

Rhians’ Top  Budget Meal Prep Tips

1. Plan – Make lists and get all your ingredients ready.
2. Start small – Cook double or triple serves of dinner each night to portion up and freeze.
3. Make multiple meals with similar ingredients – This saves time and money.
4. Use ingredients you already have – Plan meals using ingredients you already have to save money.
5. Wash, cut up and/or grate all vegetables needed before starting your cook up – This makes it so much easier and uses even less dishes!
6. Use your food processor – If you have a good processor save time by grating vegetables in there.
7. Buy pre prepared items from your local grocery store – If you are time poor and budget is not an issue, buy ingredient such a cubed pumpkin, zucchini noodles, shredded carrot and even sliced onions to help you get more done in less time!
8. Use seasonal vegetables and shop specials
9. Don’t just meal prep…snack prep too!
10. Label and date all containers before freezing.
