With “Fear,” GAWM makes a statement: his music isn’t for the faint of heart. Adding boldness to the bass scene with a screechy proclamation of just how heavy he can get, Prodigy Artists’ GAWM brings his raucous stamp to Insomniac‘s Bassrush Records. To date, GAWM’s 2021 name-making campaign has encompassed two remixes (“F.W.Y.S.” and “Fell in Love at EDC”) and a thrashing original known as “Insomnia.”
Administering an elevated dose of the low-end on what is his first of many Bassrush Records releases this year, GAWM reflects,
“I’m honored to be doing work with such a great label. I really wanted to go hard with these next few songs coming out for the summer. With festival season finally coming along, I felt like it was really important for me to do my best in order to get these songs rinsed out live all summer long.”
“Fear” will formally release via Bassrush Records on June 25, but can be streamed one day early, only on Dancing Astronaut.
