A vanilla based tequila cocktail inspired by our trip to Mexico City!! It’s a fun spin on a margarita and honestly – it’s life altering!! Also very easy to make in batches!

Cuisine Mexican

  • 4 ounces tequila blanco
  • 4 ounces freshly squeezed orange juice
  • 1 ounce freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla bean paste (or vanilla extract if you can’t find paste)
  • 2 teaspoons honey
  • 3-4 dashes bitters
  • pinch of salt and orange zest twist for garnish
  • Place all ingredients in a cocktail shaker, give a good stir to mix honey and vanilla paste. Fill cocktail shaker 3/4 full with ice and shake for 10 seconds. Strain into chilled coupe glass. Garnish with a lime or orange twist.

** Can also be served over ice with a splash of soda water and can easily be made into batch cocktails for a party**
