The Run Disney Team has announced their first IN PERSON race to be held in 2021. The Wine and Dine Half Marathon Weekend is one of the organizations popular races run in and around the Walt Disney Theme Parks in Orlando, FL. The 2020 race was cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic. But the company just announced this year’s race will be in person!
The Disney Wine and Dine Half Marathon Weekend will be November 4-7, 2021. It’s their first in person running event in over a year. (The company previously announced their biggest annual event The Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend, will be an in person race again in January 2022.)
The Disney Wine and Dine Half Marathon is an extra special event because of it’s Running and Eating combination.

Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend 2022
The Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend had to cancel it’s in person races for 2021 due to the pandemic. But it will be back with the in person events starting January 2022! The race dates and registration prices are up now on the website so you can start planning your training.
The Disney World Marathon Weekend includes 4 distance options – 5K, 10K, Half Marathon and Full Marathon runs. And there are two awesome challenges for runners who want to collect more medals and miles – Goofy’s Race and a Half Challenge and the Dopey Challenge. There are also Virtual Race options for runners who can’t make it to Orlando to run but still want to participate from home.
The Goofy’s Race and a Half Challenge is the Walt Disney World Half Marathon and Full Marathon (the races are on consecutive days). Runners get the half marathon medal, full marathon medal and a bonus medal for completing the challenge. The Goofy Challenge is $390 for the 2022 race (not including the service fee).
The Dopey Challenge is the stuff legends are made of… it requires runners to do all of the Disney World Marathon Weekend Events – 5K, 10K, Half Marathon and Full Marathon on consecutive days. The Dopey Challenge is $600 for 2022 (not including the service fee).
